We are super excited to join you in Geneva for this year’s AidEx Event,
In the last 12 months, we have seen a transformational shift in the world of Aid. We are at a critical juncture as these massive forces shift our world. The dismantling of USAID and the reduction in ODA and general humanitarian and development assistance come at a time when the world feels like it’s on fire with natural and human-made disasters.
At the same time, our work, as members of the global aid community, is as critical as ever to face these challenges. We need to innovate in order to do more with less, and in many ways carve new ways of doing our important work.
At Aseel, we are a US-based technology startup that has supported scores of humanitarian and development projects in Afghanistan and Turkey. Throughout the last six years, we have been highlighted with various awards and covered widely for our direct impact. We regard the 6 years of us building our technology platform in these countries as testing grounds and hope to meet you, learn about the communities you serve and find ways together to fund and serve them better.
In the spirit of innovation and in response to these hard challenges, we have created AidOS.com. It is the seed of an Aid Operating System that we hope will serve all of us. Our hope is for our entire community to face these critical issues with more confidence, knowing we are developing an operating system that will serve our needs in all sectors—together, for a better world.
