Human Concern International (HCI) is a Canadian-based charity, established in 1980. Its mission is to alleviate human suffering and build secure, self-sufficient communities through sustainable development and emergency relief efforts. Working in over 16 countries across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, HCI partners with local NGOs to design and implement impactful, community-led projects. By strengthening local capacity and prioritizing localization, HCI delivers long-term solutions across disaster response, WASH, child sponsorship, health, education, zero hunger and livelihoods. Guided by values of compassion, accountability, and social justice, HCI works to restore dignity and build brighter futures worldwide.
