Xia (Susan) Li is a pioneering Chinese social entrepreneur and a leading advocate for sustainable energy access among Bottom-of-the-Pyramid (BoP) populations. She is the Founder of two Chinese social enterprises - Shenzhen Power-Solution Ind. Co., Ltd. (established in 2009) and Solar Run Energy (founded in 2016), delivering clean, affordable solar solutions to off-grid communities, particularly across sub-Saharan Africa. From simple solar lights replacing harmful kerosene lamps to full home systems powering appliances, her contribution has transformed daily life for millions.
