Tetiana Deshko

Dr. Tetiana Deshko, is Director of International Programs at APH and has worked in HIV/AIDS since 2001. She manages multi-country projects across Asia, East Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia , focusing on expanding access to PrEP, introducing innovative prevention technologies, protecting human rights, and supporting transitions from international to domestic health funding. Following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, she became actively involved in humanitarian response efforts. In 2016, Dr. Deshko co-initiated the Harm Reduction Academy, a global learning initiative promoting best practices in harm reduction and HIV prevention. She holds a PhD in social sciences.
