Sara Lisa Ørstavik
Sara Lisa Ørstavik is Senior Advisor for Innovation and Impact Finance at Norad’s Department of Humanitarian Assistance and Comprehensive Response. She brings cross-sector experience from the United Nations, government, private sector, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on strategic management and sustainable food systems. Prior to joining Norad, she served as SDG Private Finance Advisor at UNDP’s Sustainable Finance Hub, where she helped shape global standards for sustainable business management, advised companies and investment funds on integrating sustainability into core business practices, and supported efforts to mobilise private investment for the SDGs. Earlier in her career, she worked with the World Food Programme on food systems analysis, policy, and programme design and implementation. She has consulted with the UN and private sector in various countries, and founded a food start-up in Colombia. Sara Lisa holds degrees from Columbia University, the University of Gastronomic Sciences, SOAS (University of London), and is fluent in five languages.
