Peter Klansoe serves as Senior Leadership Advisor in Danish Red Cross and to the Humanitarian Innovative Finance Hub for the RCRC Movement. Peter has 30+ years of leadership experience in the humanitarian sector, most recently as international director for Danish Red Cross and before that as global director of Programme and Policy for the Danish Refugee Council and in the field as regional director for DRC in the Middle East and East Africa. Mr. Klansoe started his carrier in UNICEF in West Africa and New York. In the last years Peter has worked on the financing agenda, exploring and promoting the use of blended finance and other innovative sources of financing in humanitarian and fragile settings.
