Dr. Papys LAME MUSEY is a physician and public health expert specializing in responses to humanitarian emergencies and epidemics. After beginning his career with the Congo Emergency Pool at MSF Belgium, he joined the NGO ALIMA, where he held key positions, notably as Medical Coordinator in the DRC and Cameroon, and later as Medical Director of the Emergency Department. Now serving as Head of the Medical Department responsible for the quality of care in ALIMA’s operations, he possesses in-depth expertise in viral hemorrhagic fevers (VHF), a field in which he has been working since 2012. He is currently involved in the response to the Ebola epidemic in the DRC, first on the ground as an emergency coordinator, and now providing strategic medical support from Dakar.
