Nawaf Al Hammadi
Nawaf Al-Hammadi currently serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Programs and
Communications at Qatar Charity, a position he assumed in 2025. Prior to this, he held the
role of Chief Global Programs Officer since 2020, where he spearheaded strategic initiatives
and global program development.
With over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector and public affairs, Nawaf has
played a pivotal role in advancing humanitarian and development programs worldwide. His
expertise spans program management, strategic communications, and organizational
leadership.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Essex and has developed
strong management and marketing capabilities through various public positions within
Qatar. Nawaf is committed to driving impactful programs that foster resilience, economic
empowerment, and sustainable development across communities globally.
Transitioning to the Eid Charity Foundation in 2014 as its Head of Marketing and Resource
Development, Al-Hammadi spearheaded multifaceted projects from conception to execution
for three years, leading to his appointment as Director General in 2017. Recognized for his
contributions, he assumed the role of overseeing the Criminal Court of Qatar in 2018,
subsequently serving as Assistant Undersecretary at the Supreme Judiciary Council in
2019.
Currently, Al-Hammadi leads Qatar Charity's expansive global humanitarian and
development initiatives across 70 nations, leveraging his exceptional expertise and
background to drive lasting solutions for poverty, marginalization, and inequities
