Nasrat Khalid is the Founder and CEO of Aseel, a platform transforming humanitarian aid delivery and economic empowerment through technology. A former refugee himself, Nasrat combines lived experience with over 12 years working with the World Bank, USAID, and the EU to design solutions that restore dignity and infrastructure to crisis-affected communities. Nasrat holds a Master of Science in Business and Management from the University of Essex and is a recipient of the Andrew Rice Award for Leadership and Innovation, as well as a G20 Young Global Changer. His work has been featured by Time, NPR, BBC, Al Jazeera, and The Guardian, underscoring the global significance of his efforts.

He launched Aseel Buy Good to connect thousands of artisans currently serving the Afghan and Turkish artisans—mostly women—to global markets, generating sustainable livelihoods. Following the collapse of Afghanistan in 2021, he created Do Good, which has delivered over 2.5 million meals and survival kits to more than 550,000 people across 24 provinces.
