Nadia Badran

Dr. Badran is President of the Social Workers’ Syndicate in Lebanon and Executive Director of SIDC. She holds a PhD in Social Sciences and has over 30 years of experience in health, social development, counselling, and community-based programming. Her expertise includes mental health, SRH, HIV/STIs, substance use, gender and sexual diversity, stigma, discrimination, and vulnerable populations. She is a regional and international trainer, lecturer, and consultant who has worked with UN agencies, governments, NGOs, and civil society. She has also served on regional and international expert groups, including the WHO Regional Expert Team.
