Muhammad Siddiq Khan, from South Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is a seasoned humanitarian leader with a strong track record in crisis response and sustainable development. As Head of Programme Implementation at Islamic Relief Pakistan, he oversees multi-million-dollar portfolios focused on resilience-building in vulnerable communities.

His expertise lies in the Humanitarian-Development-Peace nexus, having led key initiatives such as the Community Resilience Activity-North (IOM-funded) and the SIDA-funded HDP Nexus Programme in fragile, conflict-affected areas. Muhammad Siddiq has been instrumental in advancing conflict-sensitive programming in Pakistan’s merged districts and Balochistan.

During the 2022 floods, his leadership enabled life-saving interventions and long-term recovery planning. His work spans COVID-19 response, climate adaptation, and integrated programming across Social Cohesion, Poverty Graduation, FSL, WASH and Protection & Inclusion.

A participant in the U.S. State Department’s International Visitors Leader Programme (IVLP), Muhammad Siddiq champions locally informed, community-driven approaches that go beyond traditional aid models. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and nature photography.
