Mila Leonova is the Director of Alliance UA CSO, a position she has held since November 2023. With over 20 years of experience in public, external, and government relations, she brings extensive expertise in strategic communication, advocacy, and international relations to the Ukrainian civil society sector. Her career spans leadership roles across multiple sectors, including serving as Head of External Affairs at Caritas Ukraine, CEO of Leonova Consulting, and senior communication positions in both corporate and government settings. Mila is a certified Peace Engineer with Dignity Space, specializing in nonviolent communication, conflict mediation, and peaceful resolution of disputes at various levels. Her comprehensive background includes facilitating dialogue for community reconciliation, crisis communication management, and training in conflict transformation. With more than 15 years of project management experience and fluency in coordinating with international organizations, institutional donors, and UN mechanisms, she offers valuable insights into building sustainable capacity within Ukrainian NGOs while navigating complex humanitarian and development challenges.
