Martin Gallard is a Partnerships & Localisation Advisor at Fondation Terre des hommes, with over ten years of experience working across humanitarian and development contexts in the Middle East, Africa and Europe. His work focuses on strengthening partnerships, organisational capacity and locally led approaches, drawing on extensive experience working with local organisations, international NGOs, governments and donors. He is particularly interested in what genuine localisation means in practice, and how international actors can shift decision-making, resources and ownership towards local partners.
