Lanre Williams-Ayedun

Lanre Williams-Ayedun, MA MPH is the Senior Vice President of International Programs at World Relief. Her 20-year career spans experience in disaster response, public health, child development, microfinance, and agriculture. She currently leads a team of over 1,000 employees serving in 11 countries, including several in fragile and conflict-affected contexts. In 2022, they served nearly 1.4 million women, men and children with cash transfers, refugee camp management, shelter, psychosocial support, WASH, basic primary healthcare, and livelihood support. Lanre recently advised the World Bank Group on the creation of a faith and development research agenda, and in 2022 was named an Emerging and Developing Global Executive fellow by the World Trade Center Institute. She serves as a board member, coach and advisor for several organizations. Lanre is a sought-after public speaker on humanitarian affairs, and faith and development with master’s degrees from The George Washington University in International Development and Public Health and a certification in Human Centered Design from Johns Hopkins University. Lanre speaks four languages and currently lives in Virginia with her husband, Yomi.
