Kelly Joseph
Kelly Shawn Joseph is the Founder and Co-Fund Facilitator of La Sœur Fund, a newly established women's fund dedicated to mobilizing flexible, trust-based funding for women-led grassroots organizations addressing violence against women and girls in humanitarian crises. With more than two decades of experience across government, philanthropy, the UN, and international and national NGOs, she has worked in over 30 countries supporting programs to prevent and respond to violence against women and girls in humanitarian settings.
Kelly also delivered the TEDxLausanneWomen talk, Why the Story of Violence Against Women Needs a Re-write, where she challenges conventional narratives about this violence and calls for a shift toward stories that center resilience, collective action, and systemic change.
