Jess Kenneth Torp is an international security and risk management professional with extensive experience in both humanitarian and non-humanitarian operations in complex environments. He currently serves as Head of the Safety and Security Coordination Service at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and as Co-Chair of the UN Inter-Agency Security Management Network (IASMN). Prior to his assignment at WIPO, Jess was a Security Advisor for UNICEF, Emergency Coordinator, Head of Office, and Security Advisor for WFP. His expertise spans risk assessment, emergency planning, crisis management, and programme leadership, with a proven track record in both field and headquarters contexts.
