Jawid Hassanzai
Jawid Hassanzai is the Country Manager of Samuel Hall in Afghanistan. He has been with Samuel Hall since 2015 and holds an MBA from Kardan University, Afghanistan, as well as a degree in European and International Studies from Sciences Po, France. With over 15 years of experience working in complex and challenging environments in Afghanistan, Jawid’s expertise lies at the intersection of community-based research, programme evaluation, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). He has contributed to a wide range of research projects focused on migration, resilience, youth, and children, in collaboration with UN agencies, the World Bank, and international NGOs, including leading research for DEMAC in “The Role of Diaspora: Mobilizing Support to Emergency and Recovery Efforts”.
