Isak is a firm believer in changing the world by impacting one life at a time. With over 20 years of business and humanitarian service experience on the continent of Africa, he is passionate about Africa, transforming communities, building economies, and bridging the gap between not-for-profit and for-profit entities for the good of the continent’s environment, communities, businesses and people.
As CEO of ForAfrika, Isak leads this multifaceted organisation, working for an Africa that thrives. This unique group brings together both not-for-profit and for-profit activity to provide humanitarian, development and social enterprise services, impacting more than 4 million people across eight African countries.
Isak is a seasoned speaker, having presented on global platforms like TED, Clinton Global Initiative, the UN and many business and NGO forums. He plays an advisory role to governments, donor entities, NGO’s and businesses on implementing sustainable and highly impactful activities in Africa.
As an active member of YPO since 2009, he is currently the Africa Regional Chair and the Vice Chair of the Global Deal Network. He is a YPO Africa Impact Award winner who is passionate about the role YPO can play in the future history of Africa.
Isak is a business school graduate and family man, married to Terri, with two children, Kiera and Peter, and a new baby boy on the way. He is also the proud dad of a Goldendoodle named Washington
With a BComm degree and 20 years of humanitarian services and business experience on the continent, he is well positioned to drive the organisation into the future while staying true to its vision of an Africa that thrives.
He is passionate about impactful development in Africa and bridging the gap between non-profit and for-profit entities.
Isak has also played a role in advising many governments, donor entities and large NGOs on sustainable programmes and has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) since 2009.
