Iona Crumley

Iona Crumley has a background in medical imaging and an MSc in Global Public Health. After training and working clinically in the UK, she began her humanitarian career with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in 2014 as Diagnostic Imaging Adviser, working to implement and enhance radiology services and digital health tools across MSF’s global operations.
Following a brief tenure as Innovation Adviser at the UK’s Health Innovation Network, Iona rejoined MSF in 2022—first as Digital Health Adviser, and now as Medical Technologies & Innovation Coordinator. In her current role, she drives the development, support, and promotion of technology and innovation initiatives to strengthen humanitarian medical care.
