Co-Founder, Sehat Kahani

Dr. Iffat Zafar Aga did her medicine from ZIauddin University & a Masters in Global E-Health from University of Edinburgh (2017-21). She began her career from Novartis Pharma in 2010 and has a collective experience of working in the Pharma sector, Micro Insurance and Digital Health Space for around 14 years. She started Sehat Kahani in 2017 and currently works as the Cofounder & COO. She also serves as the Executive Member for the Ziauddin Alumni Association.

Sehat Kahani is a widely used Digital Healthcare platform in Pakistan with the vision to democratize healthcare access for all using technology and a committed network of doctors with the commitment to optimize medical practice for physicians who otherwise face socio-cultural barriers to practice. Sehat Kahani is currently working in 2 distinct segments, as a mobile application for the mass consumers and Corporations and as E-Clinics in low income communities. Sehat Kahani also does E-Pharmacy in selected cities for the corporate market alongwith Claims Management. Sehat Kahani’s mobile application is used by 1.5M + consumers, 860 + corporations today. Sehat Kahani also has the largest network of 63 E-Health clinics nationwide. Over 2.65 M consultations have been conducted on the platform overall impacting 10M+ lives till date via consultations, counseling and Health education. Sehat Kahani envisions expanding into other geographies and bringing in preventative healthcare utilizing AI.

Dr. Iffat Zafar Aga has been responsible for setting up and running 7 verticals in Sehat Kahani ranging from Network of 65 E-Health Clinics, B2B and B2C mobile app with over 1100 corporate customers, Home Healthcare, E-Pharmacy to name a few. She has experience of managing and running multiple donor projects including Grand Challenges Canada, British Asian Trust, GSMA, WHO, UNDP, USAID, DFID etc. She has extensively created government level partnerships as well as Corporate Leadership partnerships for telemedicine penetration in Pakistan through multiple provincial and national level projects.

She is actively engaged in New Product Development and some of her personal favourites included setting up the B2B Corporate segment, the Pharmacy Portfolio and the Home Healthcare Portfolio. She has successfully raised funding of over $8 million including grant and equity-based funding to date from national and international investors from Pakistan, Singapore, Korea and the USA
