Firas Deeb
Firas Deeb is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and the Director of Partnerships and Funding at the Syrian Development Organization (SDO), the officially mandated national partner for international organisations in Syria. With over 18 years of experience, he has managed regional development programmes funded by the European Commission, USAID, the Islamic Development Bank, and the Dutch Government. His work focuses on government capacity building, economic development, humanitarian access, and private sector growth in fragile and post-conflict contexts, including Yemen, South Sudan, Iraq, Tunisia, and Syria, as well as across Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political and Administrative Sciences and a Master’s in European Union Policies from the European College of Parma and Suor Orsola Benincasa University in Italy.
