Doogie is the CEO of Climate Sense brings over 25 years of experience in sustainable development. He is a passionate advocate of blended finance for climate change adaptation solutions, with his work focussing on the interface between information, decision-support, capacity-development, and technical solutions.
He is a global leader on developing and applying metrics for improving the adaptative capacity of organisations and systems (e.g. national industries). Doogie was the UK’s Principal Expert developing the first international standards on adaptation to climate change (ISO 14090 and 14091).
He works globally with private, public, and civil society organisations - including government departments, policy makers, infrastructure operators, MNCs, SMEs, MDBs and donors.
Doogie is the main developer of the highly acclaimed CaDD framework (www.cadd.global). He is also one of the main authors of a 2024 study of the competencies, attributes, and professionalisation needed by individuals engaged in climate change adaptation.
