Jacqueline Dalton is Head of Editorial at Fondation Hirondelle, a non-profit that for over 30 years has built and supported media outlets in fragile contexts, reaching millions of people with local news, platforms for dialogue, and programmes that help people navigate crises, build cohesion, and make informed choices. She brings 20+ years of experience in media and humanitarian response, including roles with the BBC World Service, BBC Media Action, and the International Committee of the Red Cross. She has worked in emergencies across Asia, Africa and the Middle-East, always focused on helping communities to stay informed and be heard. Current priorities include media literacy and preventing/addressing mis- and disinformation.
