ATscale, the Global Partnership for Assistive Technology, is a cross-sector global partnership with a mission to transform people’s lives through AT. It catalyzes action to ensure that, by 2030, an additional 500 million people in low- and middle-income countries get the life-changing AT they need.
AT can be crucial to survival in humanitarian settings: for accessing essential support to survive, recover and rebuild lives. ATscale is working to increase integration of AT in to humanitarian situations, through leveraging its own capacity, as well as that of partners. ATscale focuses on two key areas: ongoing technical support and advocacy to address gaps in guidance for assistive products, and concrete implementation measures to ensure rapid availability of assistive products in crisis situations.
