Mission
SIF is an independent international humanitarian NGO. Founded in France in 1991, it has directly impacted the lives of over 14 million people over the past 35 years. Its mission is to support vulnerable populations affected by crises, conflicts, disasters, and poverty by providing emergency assistance, strengthening resilience, and contributing to sustainable development, while protecting the dignity and fundamental rights of affected populations.

Expertise
SIF works independently and with partners in around 40 countries. Internationally, SIF delivers emergency relief during conflicts, disasters, and humanitarian emergencies. Working closely with communities, it implements long-term development projects focused on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), shelter and settlements, food security and livelihoods, and education and child welfare. In France, SIF provides emergency social assistance and socio-economic support to vulnerable communities, while also leading advocacy campaigns to drive lasting change both in France and around the world.
