In South Africa, over the past 38 years, Africa Muslims Agency (AMA) has established itself as a trustworthy, dependable organisation that supports the underprivileged on the continent of Africa through winter projects, food hampers, disaster relief and more. AMA has expanded globally, with sustainable projects like boreholes, dignity tents and schools established in Afghanistan and Lebanon and various ongoing initiatives in countries like Turkey, Yemen, Palestine, Syria and Burma.
AMA has established itself as a leader in the provision of water, having built thousands of water wells and boreholes on the continent of Africa, and in multiple countries across the world. AMA is also well known for supporting orphans across the globe, providing bursaries and establishing schools, educational facilities and a few fully fledged universities.
AMA works in the medical field, providing hospitals and clinics as well as solar panels to power hospitals which have no access to electricity.
Response to emergencies and disasters is also core to AMA’s work, whether it be local fires or global economic collapse.
Africa Muslims Agency takes empowerment and inspiration from the bottom of Africa to the rest of the continent and world, standing as a beacon of hope to communities in need wherever they may be.
