Scaling mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) in emergencies - The role of Public-Private Philanthropy Partnerships
Mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) remains one of the most urgent yet under-resourced aspects of humanitarian response, despite the growing needs of people affected by conflict and crises. This session will explore how Public-Private-Philanthropy Partnerships (the 4P model) can bring together funding, expertise and innovation to strengthen emergency response and build more resilient systems. Through practical examples and lessons from leading humanitarian, philanthropic and private sector organisations, panellists will discuss how cross-sector partnerships can scale impact, support local capacity, and embed MHPSS as a core component of humanitarian action.
