Bridging Practice and Research - Introducing the Centre for Humanitarian Impact

22 Oct 2026
Discussion Room
Humanitarian practice and research too often move on separate tracks. Practitioners hold hard-won lessons from the field, while researchers build the evidence base, yet the two rarely meet in time to shape decisions on the ground.

The Centre for Humanitarian Impact (CHI) was created to bridge this gap. In this session, CHI Founding Director Talha Keskin will introduce the vision behind CHI, its work across five key areas—training, capacity building, community, network, and research—and its future direction.

Join us to explore how evidence and practice can strengthen each other and to connect with the CHI team at AidEx 2026.
