Bridging the Gap - Evidence Behind Cross-Sector Solutions in Humanitarian Logistics
As humanitarian need rises and logistics funding shrinks, the sector needs fresh approaches and partnership models to sustain and scale aid delivery. This session presents new sector-wide research by Airlink and the Center for Humanitarian Logistics and Regional Development (CHORD) examining how cross-sector partnerships can address both critical funding and operational gaps in humanitarian logistics. Findings explore the growing impact of donated transportation, what drives organizations to seek these partnerships, and the emerging shift from ad hoc corporate giving to strategic collaboration. Airlink and CHORD will be joined by private sector and NGO partners to discuss this important topic. Participants leave with data-driven insights and forward-looking recommendations for how to collaboratively build a more resilient humanitarian logistics environment.
