Livelihoods on the edge - Strengthening market access, social cohesion, and recovery in fragile contexts

23 Oct 2025
Discussion Room

In fragile and crisis-affected settings, livelihoods are essential for survival, dignity and hope. When people lose access to markets, jobs and assets, they face deeper poverty and increased vulnerability. This session will explore how to support livelihoods in ways that are inclusive, conflict-sensitive and locally driven.

Speakers will discuss how access to income and markets can build trust and social cohesion. The session will also highlight the importance of investing in fragile settings. These investments can strengthen local economies and help communities recover.
